Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, Feb. 4, 2013 – Aquatech showcased its innovative water and wastewater treatment technologies at Water Arabia (Booth 34), held at Le Meridien, Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia on February 4-6.
A global leader in water purification technology for the industrial and infrastructure markets, Aquatech has a strong presence in Saudi Arabia. High profile projects include a seawater reverse osmosis system for supplying potable water for the airport in Jeddah; a seawater distillation system for Saudi Arabian Oil Company’s Ras Tanura Refinery; and a demineralization plant (repeat order) for IBN Rushd, a Saudi Arabia Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) affiliate petrochemical facility, in Yanbu. Aquatech has recently worked with several SABIC affiliates, including United Petrochemicals, PetroKemya, and Sharq.
Held under the patronage of H.E. the Minister of Water and Electricity, the event featured a three-day Conference and Exhibition dedicated to water quality. The theme of this year’s Water Arabia 2013 was “Innovative Water and Wastewater Technologies for a Sustainable Environment.”
